At SRSM, sports is an integral part of the curriculum. We believe that sports - which requires a blend of discipline, hard work, perseverance, and commitment - provide opportunities to students to inculcate values of both fair play and healthy competition. It also raises self-esteem and helps in building a sturdy sportsman’s spirit. Our students accomplish all of this and much more, under the supervision of a team of in-house coaches. The School lays equal emphasis on sports and physical activities as much as on academics. Hence, prominence is given to sports and events involving agility and dexterity of the body. There was not even a single day on which students missed their Sports period. Srsmians participated enthusiastically in all the morning sessions during lockdown even and shared extremely positive results.
Our School has a vibrant ethos of cultural activities in combination with the Academics and Sports. In its endeavour to promote cultural activities, school hosted a plethora of ‘Inter House/Class’ Competitions in the ongoing session ‘2021-22’. The young Srsmians displayed their proficiency by participating in various Cultural Competitions and won various positions. The students won accolades in the following events.
