Teaching Ethics

Education must aim at making children capable of becoming responsible, productive and useful members of society. Knowledge skills and attitudes are built through learning experiences and opportunities created for learners in school. It is through active learning that learners can analyse and evaluate their experiences, learn to doubt, to question, to investigate and to think independently. SRSM exactly follows the aforementioned ideology and provides hands on learning experiences to the students. Round the year activities are carefully planned so that the learning outcomes are clear and assessments are well defined. Physical and technologically advanced infrastructure, a well designed and coherent curriculum along with the committed faculty at SRSM, all provide positive learning environments to the students within the classrooms and outside. Students learn through teachers instructions, group discussions, field trips, seminars and workshops which form an integral part of the study curriculum. Teachers aim at instilling confidence, initiative and the development of critical and analytical skills. Classrooms are diverse spaces in which learners of different abilities learn in different ways recognising this we have done away with the one size fits all approach and have developed an instruction & education support programme that caters to individual needs. Regular monitoring, striking close bonds and consistent counselling sessions help our students to identify and explore their interest and achieve their individual goals.

We understand our responsibility of nation building therefore we groom our students to love and respect their country and its values since we strongly believe that no plant can grow with its undernourished or malnourished roots. We always want our students to be proud of our nation and its rich cultural heritage and for this, all festivals are celebrated with zest and fervour keeping intact the spirit of love and togetherness. Academic excellence of course is given top priority, but honing skills and helping students realise them true potential ultimately leads to overall personality developments is the most important aspect of our school’s curriculum.
